The Cat Lord

In the beginning the Great Wolf made the planet yadda-yadda-yadda, yeah SO what? he might have made the planet but he didn't notice me now did he? I slinked into the pantheon, ok, so I lie, that's the nature of the Cat Lord, no I'm not evil just 'personally interested' in me. Well I was personally interested in me, until I saw what he did with the Shakari, and that gave me my idea to use my power to give my Cats an edge too, not all of them of course, can't get to the Felin not with the Ch'marr'on bint in the way...nor would I, they're a bastardisation of human and animal. Big Cats mind you, not little iddy biddy pussy cats. Power and strength, and a desire to just be lazy as hell at times, while you think we're not watching you but we are. Ok, so you wanna play an Eldrin, WHY? damn right, CAUSE WE ROCK? puppies are for babies. Ok so that's my view, still they're also damn useful allies and that's why my people the Eldrin like em so much, didn't use to, used to fight like Cat and Dog but we mellowed over time, so did they and they. War does that, War against the darkness and there's a crud load of that on the Sphere. Damnit.

So what's in an Eldrin, apart from a lot of claws, teeth and a desire to attack anything that is weaker than we are. Heh, ok, so I lie again, we don't really attack, we like to do nothing much until we're roused then we'll kick your arse, so be disinterested, and look bored but pay ATTENTION, because you never know when the information might help you, or an ally. Love the Shakari, you wanna Shakari mate, don't let the fact they're big wuffy dogs put you off, they also kick ass, and for that I respect them, so should you, if you don't they'll prolly give as good as they get...but that's all well and good. Let's move on to the joys of how the hell you play one.

Go and watch a Big Cat in action, and then put that into the mind of a noble and cunning personality, cats are cunning, so are we, really cunning. But often we don't backstab our allies and our friends. We can speak a lot of the races tongues, because as for the Shakari we've been around for a long time. And we intend to stay that way. Be reserved and aloof but ready to leap in and aid your friends, once we make them, we make them for life so get that into your heads right away. If you're going to make an Eldrin thief then make one that steals from the bad guys ok? If you wanna make an Eldrin mage, that's all well and good, cause like the Shakari we kick ass with that too. Hrm, we don't have a grid home yet, and our home is a mixture of houses and trees. We follow our Leader the Lady Morrrlaine and we have our own Knights and Orders, the Knightly Orders are named after our kind's race, Panther, Jaguar and Lion etc. We also have our Claws, who're like the Shakari Talons, and the Mages we call, SURPRISE SURPRISE, Mages...so we're unoriginal, so what?

Again the Claws are OURs ok? so new players is gonna have to earn that rank, the same goes with the Shakari though, only the creme de la creme can play us. Don't like it, you can kiss our tails!
