Staff Positions

Mages - These are the top ranking officials on Ashirion, it's the top of the tree and what they say often goes. The Bosswolf is the final authority on things, so they defer to him. A Mage can manipulate all server commands like a Wizard they just have a few extra perks. A lot of them don't have a hand in the RP at all. Mages can @nuke and @boot.

Wizards - The Admin who can manipulate the server commands the same as Mages, they are responsible often for keeping code in line and the general day to day administration of code related matters. Usually in this denomination you'll find the RP Wizzes, and the Builder Wizzes - who deal with Rp related problems/matters and building respectively. A Wizard can @nuke and @boot.

Royals - Rank and File Admin who can deal with RP matters, they can manipulate a few server commands and they have the power /often/ to @boot a player who gets on their nerves. They are often also involved in helping with chargen problems that Helpers can't handle.

Elders - Reserved for /retired/ Admin who wish to have a break from the hectic life of a staffer, but who haven't left for good. However they are /inactive/ Admin mostly and really do not have anything to do with the day-2-day running of the game. Those Admin who go onto Elders and expect to still actively hold a place in Ashirion are expected to return to active duty. Elders is a placeholder and a hall of fame for those who have done services for the game. So that I can say thanks, it is not an excuse for retired Admin to have none of the pressure and still expect to fulfill their original task. (This rank is pending discussion on it's status)
